Fox Plays publishes the plays, books, and musicals created by Cenarth Fox, for children, teens and adults.

Fox Plays began in 1975 and today the catalogue includes mini plays, mini-musicals, plays, musicals, Christmas musicals,  Easter plays, radio plays and books both fiction and non-fiction.

There are shows about Shakespeare, Dickens, the Brontes, Agatha Christie and Arthur Conan Doyle. There are big-cast shows with principals and chorus members, shows for 3-10 actors, all-female shows, two-handers and several one-person shows. There are four shows with a Sherlock Holmes’ theme. Three of the Sherlockian shows have become a radio play and are available on CD.

There are non-fiction books on writing plays and staging plays, as well as books with music games, drama games and performance poetry. Other titles include Code Cracker – a book of codes for kids to crack, Be a Detective Like Sherlock Holmes, and the self-explanatory, Teach a Toddler to Read.

Fiction titles include a series of 5 books about the schoolboy Sherlock Holmes, while novels include a trilogy of WW2 thrillers, 8 books in the police procedurals of The Detective Joanna Best Mysteries, the history of indigenous Australians in Tasmania in A Sweeping Saga.
